Instantly people wanted to return home to be near their families. In the weeks and months that followed the media explored every detail of the attacks and the fear and confusion grew. 12. Why I choose this topic Although I was just a baby when it happened I watched it live on my television and while I played around and slept people around me were probably panicking. Newspapers, television, computers and magazines all wanted a piece of it. 9/11 is probably one of the most important pieces of human history in the 21 st centaury and it’s a massive topic.
