3 10/29/20153 (c) 2011 K. Pariseau, Legacy Productions Step 1: (quick route) run a spell check on your writing. See if this window pops up after all words are spelled correctly.

Okay, so… In Office 2000+, you can go to the “Tools” taskbar and go under Options to set up “Readability Statistics.” In Office 2007, you go to “Review” and there you will see The ABC – check (spell check icon). The Readability Statistics will automatically show up after you have done a spell check.

Open “Spelling & Gram” Check off “Show Readability statistics” Click the OK button. Now, after you do a spell check, the stats box will appear.
