2. 2011 Section Most Important Accomplishment Solid membership and operation: –Membership: 650 + student chapter. –Board: all roles filled, except PACE, plus 6 active members-at-large: all former chairs. –Participation: 9 meetings, 10 speakers, Distinguished Lecturer, wind farm tour. –Monthly Newsletter: announce talks and tours, and promote our sponsors. –Strong Balance Sheet: Roughly $15K in both checkbook and savings. Meeting and ad revenues cover most expenditures.

3. R4 Can Most Help My Section By… Our Strategic Intent: encourage students to enter the engineering profession. Our Implementation: annual sponsorship of student projects in the University of Wisconsin and in Madison public schools. Possible Assistance: R4 can help with funding, and also with project ideas.
