4.  Let’s Scan (or Survey the Article)  Do we have background knowledge on the subject?  What questions do the Authors want us to be able to answer after reading?  Now let’s read and prepare for Friday’s discussion…except you will perform all the roles of discussion: Question, Clarify, Summarize, Connect, and offer a “So What?”
