Goals and objectives of the Department of Medicine To extend the activities of the medical undergraduate program performed in community-based areas of health care To introduce the program of Clinical Emergencies in the medical undergraduate program To participate in organizing the degree-granting programs in Physical Therapy, Nutrition and Metabolism and Medical Informatics at the FMRP To broaden the medical activities in the Clinical Emergencies area To design and conduct new research programs in the area of Clinical Epidemiology
