DIABETES MELLITUS - HISTORY CVS: Angina, heart failure, hypertension, intermittend claudication GIT: “full feeling” after meals, nausea, vomiting, constipation NEUROLOGICAL: Mononeuropathies, peripheral neuropathy, radiculopathy, transient ischemic attacks, CVA (stroke) VISION: Blurred vision, cataracts, previous laser therapy

Classification of Diabetes Mellitus: 1.Type 1 2.Type 2 3.Type “3” 4.Gestational

DMT2: 1.Usually Older; 2.↑ Weight ± A Nigr.; 3.Slow Onset; 4. 5.Usually Asympt.; 6.Initially Non-insulin & 7.May present with Complications!
