Overview 120 schools over four years (2013 – 2016) 30 schools each year $50 000 initially to assist with transition $50 000 each year

Financial flexibility One-line school budget that includes: –school grants –staffing budget expressed in both full-time equivalent staff and notional monetary terms

Support, accountability and transparency System requirements Performance agreement and review Continued support

Selection process All Queensland state schools invited to apply Seeking a diversity of Queensland state schools Expression of Interest (EOI) Form and 3 page written application –demonstrate broad consultation –capacity to assume greater responsibility –outline potential benefits for students and community –outline the innovative educational programs or practices
