Why has District 11 been Successful in Increasing CSAP Scores? Implemented a district-wide planning process - CQI Implemented process for differentiating instruction and utilizing interventions – RtI Provided more time for instruction and PLC Created District goals and a strategic plan to achieve the goals Aligned Curriculum to the state standards Mapped textbooks and curriculum to district standards Created assessments to gauge student learning and adapt instruction to individual student needs

What are some of the District’s greatest needs? Recruits and supports high quality teachers and continues to increase their skills (needs improvement) Provides ongoing, high quality professional development to principals, teachers, ESP and staff in general Implement and support quality programs that attracts and keeps students, and provide 21st Century Knowledge and Skills
