Folder window A Windows Vista feature that enables you to navigate to your computer’s files and folders. Dialog box A box where you decide which action the computer should take or select a setting provided in the dialog box. Folders The containers that hold files, computer programs, and other folders. Click the Start button and from the Start menu, click Documents.

Folders listDisplays an expandable list of all of the computer’s folders. Content paneDisplays the contents of the current folder. Back and Forward buttons Moves forward or backward through your recently viewed folders. Scroll boxMoves your view within a winder to display objects that are in the windows, but were not previously visible.
