3. BIG IDEA: We are called to restore the broken! Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.

4. ARE YOU ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN TAKEN CAPTIVE BY SIN? Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass Brethren=Believers Overtaken= Aorist, Passive προλαμβάνω to be caught (by surprise), overtaken Trespass= παράπτωμα Trespass, Sin (Mt. 6:14)  Satan, sin and self are on the prowl to devour believers  We are our brother’s keeper  No man left behind

5. SHOULD YOU BE ENGAGED IN THE PROCESS OF RESTORING THOSE WHO ARE BROKEN? You who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness You=believers who are spiritual spiritual=πνευματικός-spirit filled/led restore= to set a broken bone gentleness= Fruit of the Spirit - Gal. 5:23  Are you mature, growing and being led by the Spirit?  Are you committed to helping fix the brokenness?  Are you choosing gentleness?

6. ARE YOU REMAINING SPIRITUALLY VIGILANT? Considering yourself lest you also be tempted Considering= σκοπέω-to notice carefully (Phil. 3:17, Rom. 16:17) Tempted= Aorist, Passive-πειράζω to tempt or test Remember that Godlier men/women than you have fallen Remember that Satan, sin and self never take a vacation
