1.  11.2 and 11.3 are due now. They will be your first grades of the last quarter.  There will be a quiz on sections 3 and 4 Thursday (no notes, study now).

2.  Industrial Revolution that originates in Britain changes the world.  First factories in America are built in New England by capitalists.  Lowell Mass. first factory town

3.  Country begins to expand westward.  Quality of transportation improves  Trade increases  Population will begin to shift  Conflict with Native Americans will increase.

4.  People start moving to factory towns in order to gain employment (especially young ppl. or families that can afford a large plot of land)  Review questions 1 and 2 on page. 299.
