Hardaway was authorized as an IB World School in 2002 Hardaway was the first school in Southwest GA to offer IB Hardaway is the ONLY school in Columbus authorized to offer IB Courses Hardaway was one of 14 schools in the WORLD to pilot the IBCC Programme in 2011 Hardaway was the first authorized IBCC School in GA There are only 36 schools in the US authorized to offer this new IB Programme. Language Acquisition: Spanish, French, Latin Individuals and Societies: History, Business Science: Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Mathematics: Math Studies, Mathematics The Arts: Visual Arts, Theatre Arts, Music Core: Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Extended Essay (EE) Creativity, Action, and Service (CAS)

7 HOW Are they different? Must study 2 – 4 Diploma Courses
Must study one course from each group (6 Diploma Courses) Must have 3 HL courses and 3 SL courses Must complete TOK Must complete EE Must complete CAS Must study 2 – 4 Diploma Courses No requirement on HL vs SL Must complete ATL Must complete RP Must complete CS Must complete Language Development Must complete CTAE Pathway HOW Are they different?

Decide together what is the best decision for your child. Complete the form you received when you came in and return it to Ms. Hampel All forms should be turned into Ms. Hampel by March 28th.
