SSD Status Report July 200220 SSD readiness : module production Tender with Thales (formerly Thomson-Detexis, formerly Dassault) for the module production (connections and hybrid folding). 20 modules produced until October’01 (first ladder) Financial crisis in winter’01 : addendum to the contract Module production resumed in March’02 Technical crisis in April’02, 9 new modules produced : –Thales subcontracts its production to Bull –None electrically working, 3 silicon wafers broken –Out of geometrical specs (TAB extend twice bigger) –Production stopped, analysis of production processes –New production processes and tooling developed. –Production resuming.
