Verigy Restricted Maintenance Page 2 Connecting the LAN/GPIB converter The E5810A LAN/GPIB converter (from your NIST tracecal kit) can be connected in two ways: 1.Connect it directly to the linux controller LAN card using a crossover LAN cable 2.Connect it to a LAN hub or switch using a LAN patch cable In case on the test system no LAN/GPIB converter was ever installed please consult the Installation Guide for the Agilent93000 system. In there the configuration of the LAN card of the controller, the LAN/GPIB converter and the software is described in detail.

Verigy Restricted Maintenance Page 4 Execution Times The execution times were influenced by the following changes: + removal of TES test (- 2 hours) + removal of unnecessary measurement ranges/points not used in auto cal as references (~25%) − introduction of LAN to GPIB gateway added overhead Execution times: 512 pin system:~4 h 1024 pin system:~8 h
