4 Research Task - Using Google and other resources research your topic Afternoon tea- some areas to focus YOU can add your own for a higher grade Look this up explain the History- why it exists and who introduced it and why- YOU make a comment Look for local places which serve Aft Tea – put in map- talk about its location and type of place Find Menu which goes in back of your work so needs to be separate - - appendix refer to it and talk about it here - but print screen a section to discuss Look at 3 /4 menus compare and make comment Look at prices &compare Look at dishes and compare Look at presentation – copy small examples and discuss their appearance Look up reviews and YOU make a comment Put in any personal experiences of any of your friends/family Fruit & Vegetables- split these up and discuss separately Research the different types - the different categories they come under eg- bulb, root etc Where they are grown – countries which grow the more popular – what is Britain known for etc Research Organic explain – look at costs compare same fruit /veg and discuss the differences in price YOU make a comment of findings Look up places which sell organic locally – place map discuss What are farmers market where is your local look it up discuss. Compare supermarket, farmers market – discuss Find dishes which use a few fruit & veg – discuss do you like them have you eaten them Look at pubs restaurants - possible where you eat and look for dishes they have on menu copy menu for back of work in appendix or small print screen section and discuss cost and if it is traditional

5 Nutritional information Discuss general nutrition Eat well plate insert picture and explain it – fruit & veg topic- focus on your section and discuss What are the recommendations? Then discuss how your topic helps or not towards these nutritional requirements To achieve a higher grade always include your personal comments or extra work/presentation About half a page – well written paragraph with small pictures to show findings and refer to them
