How to Prepare for your PowerPoint Step 1- Read your selection and take notes ◦ Take Cornell or THIEVES notes on your reading assignment individually Step 2 -Gather as a group to write down notes in your graphic organizer- you will use this to help with your presentation

PowerPoint Step #3 - Make your PowerPoint with 8 slides ◦Slide #1- Do Now- make question for the class- call on a few students to answer ◦Slide #2- Title with names and class ◦Slide #3 Essential Question- written out with your standard ◦ Slides #4-7 slides Summary Statement for your slide – 5-8 words 1-3 pictures that with your notes 10-12 key words or phrases written on your slide to help with note taking ◦Ticket out- Question- call on a few students to answer
