2.  I am Canadian!  I am from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada  I have a degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor in Physical Education and Recreation  As a result, I include a lot of kinesthetic activities in the classroom where concepts are reinforced through movement

3.  I have taught for 3 years in Canada and Taiwan  I have been working with children for almost 10 years  I just moved to Taipei. Last year I lived in Kaohsiung

4.  I believe in teaching integrated skills in conjunction with academic content such as:  communication,  collaboration,  cooperation,  problem solving  creative thinking.

5.  There will NOT be a text book for my classes.  What we WILL have is an interactive notebook where students will take notes or write down information on the RIGHT side. [“INPUT”]  On the LEFT side students will process the material through drawings, reflections, lab write-ups, concept maps, etc. [“OUTPUT”]

6.  Learning about digestion I might give them a table to organize information. We will fill out the table together.

9.  We will ALWAYS discuss and creates rubrics together so students know EXACTLY how they will be assessed.  This will include participation, notebook evaluation, projects and assignments.
