3. Our school was set on the 1st of September 1999.

Our school was set on the 1st of September 1999.
214 students started to learn in this school and 22 teachers started to teach. The patron of our school is Jacek Kuroń the prominent Polish politician.

4. Present Currently there are: 25 classrooms, two gyms,
a football pitch,
computer labs,
22 computers,
the Internet connection,
the complex of sports fields called "Orlik 2012"

In our school we organize many special events and extra activities like:

Our school is actively parcipating in many international educational projects establishing connections with other schools. Projects we are parcipating:
„Active in school, active in life”- project sponsored by European Union and University of Silesia
„Comenius” – project of exchanging students and collecting experiences
European Human Capital Programme (EPS) – projects of our school are charging from Funds of EPS
Our school has prestige polish status of „School with class”

9. Our school day starts mostly at 8:00, each lesson lasts 45 minutes, breaks last from 5 to15 minutes. Everyday we have 6-7 lessons. We have a snack shop; it is opened during every break. At PE lessons we often use modern complex of sports fields. During breaks you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables salads.
