Basic data Survey on youth behavior: Spending of pocket money, clothing and bullying 408 students participated 194 female 214 male Students from the age of 10 to 16 (grade 5 to 10)

Hypothesis Students get between 11€ - 30€ pocket money, older students get more money than younger ones Most of the students spend their money on clothes and leisure time activities Girls care much more about their looks than boys We didn’t expect that the students cared about brand name clothing We expected that many students judge others because of their clothes From the beginning it was clear that most of the students wouldn’t like an introduction of a school uniform.

Conclusion We often were very surprised by the results of this survey: However we just had other expectations; some of the results were like we had expected them to be. Improvements: 1.Questions have to be asked clearlier 2.Some of the questions have to be asked less directly 3.It should only be allowed to chose/tick one possible answer
