2 Paperless Order Delivery System Company Background and Goals Cheddar’s began as a simple idea. The founders, Aubrey Good and Doug Rogers envisioned an inviting neighborhood restaurant, offering handmade, high quality food at a reasonable price. They wanted their quests to feel valued and respected, and they were determined to never compromise these fundamentals. The company’s primary goal is to be a great restaurant that serves quality food, fresh from the kitchen in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere, and at a fair price.

3 Paperless Order Delivery System The current methods for order delivery are outdated and need to be replaced Currently, when an order is placed, it is transcribed to a computer, printed out, then taken to the kitchen, where it may be misplaced, or handled out of order, yielding longer wait times for the customers. A paperless order delivery system will eliminate the need for paper to be handled, and will display in an orderly fashion all outbound meals to be cooked.

4 Paperless Order Delivery System Proposed System Goals Increased cost-effectiveness by eliminating printing system consumables Better staff efficiency as monitors display the same information to all employees Error free design yields correct orders for the customers 100% paperless designs are good economically and ecologically Fully computerized user-friendly systems significantly reduce learning curves Lower order-to-delivery times for the customers due to no confusion about outbound meals
