The Accommodation The Accommodation we stayed in was the Y hotel, Hyde park. The rooms were small but cosy, Just what we needed for a good’s night sleep. Ha, Ha as if only two kids stayed in their room the whole night, besides the ones on floor 5. The rooms had four beds in a line, a wardrobe and a locker. Breakfast at the hotel included toast, cereal and juice

Four Seasons When we boarded the harbour bridge we got a dose of the four seasons in a half hour crossing. First we got bright sunny weather, then gale force winds, then a dose of hard cold hail, finally we got a load of torrential rain. Parliament House As we approaches State Parliament House we could tell it was going to be quite fancy and very quiet inside and guess what we were right. As we walked in we met our local member Mr Greg Piper who said he would love to visit our school. We were then led into the gallery where there was lots of bantering between teams. Hyde Park Barracks The Wyee school 5/6 troupe got a very educational and memorable tour around Hyde park barracks At Hyde park barracks we saw the original sand stone buildings. That the convicts constructed. We also got the experience of what it is like to lay in the hammocks, the hammocks are replicas of the real things. The convicts weren’t aloud to play poker so they hid the cards and their belongings under the floorboards. Rats also stole their belongings.
