My Wife’s Experiment! Her students will be testing to see if the background color of your screen effects reading comprehension!
2
The State has a Question Things to consider when you come up with an experiment to test! What would we measure for this experiment? Is it fun/Exciting? State the problem in the form of a question! Is it testable? 1. State the Question
3
The police call Mr. Leviski to Collected info 2. Collect Info There are many things that you could and should do before Testing! Like, finding out more information about iPads. You can use the #Interent # Make observations/ Qualitative/Quantitative #Books # Ask Experts/Advice
4
They make him fill out forms about the High Jacked pots You want to make an educated guess! You want to tell us why you think the iPad colors will/will not change your ability to comprehend what you read? It is OK to be wrong. You must answer the question stated in the first step 3. Form a Hypothesis
5
The police test to see where the High Jacked Pots are at! 4. Test the Hypothesis Some people dread the setup! This is where you design the experiment. Make a list of what you will do! Others should be able to repeat your test! You make a list of the materials you you will use. Control your variable! Everything should be the same each time that you test except the one variable that you are testing. Create necessary charts for data recording!
6
The Stud of a detective cracks the case wide-open 5. Study Data Make sure you make graphs to represent your data! Look over the results!
7
The artist Draws the Convict 6. Draw Conclusion Tell us what and why things happened! Decide what your data tells you about your experiment! SHARE your results with others!
8
Can you beat Mr. Danny’s time? The challenge will be to learn the parts of the scientific method tomorrow.
