Permanent Facility History  Sites options available for charter schools – Developer sites – Commercial sites – School district sites  Partnership with HF Holdings – HF Holdings offered a beautiful site in Castle Pines North – CPN Incorporation has moved the development ahead – City of CPN, CPN Metro District, and HF Holdings are working together to ensure AA opens in Fall, 2009  Funding – CECFA approved financing up to $16 million – Wells Fargo (John Self) is issuing the bonds – GMP came in $700,000 over budget ($148/square foot) – even with all possible “extras” (carpet, cabinets, etc) excluded

Building Plan Basics  What will be in the building? – Approximately 83,000 sq ft. on three stories – 30 general use classrooms with natural daylight – Gym, Cafeteria, and Stage in a “wing” – Dedicated Library, Art, and Music space – Teachers’ lounge, workrooms  What about STEM? – 4 science labs: Life; Engineering & Physics; Earth Science & Astronomy; and Elementary Science – Computer labs – Energy efficient design!
