2 What is a tornado? A tornado is a violent rotating funnel shaped storm. Tornadoes are measured by a fujita scale. How much time can you prepare when a tornado is coming? About half an hour or less. A tornado is one of the most violent storms ever.

3 What is a hurricane? A hurricanes is a huge storm that happens over water and can last up until a week. How much time can you prepare for a hurricanes? If there is a warning- 36 hours and if there is a watch its 24 hours.

4 Tornadoes Hurricanes  Get away from windows!  The best place to go is your basement.  Make sure you have extra food and water.  Always have a way to listen out for tornado warnings and take action asap!  Always try to be in higher areas never lower!  You may even need to evacuate!  Build a emergency kit for your family.  Always know your surrondings.
