2. Company Overview Macarthur Minerals Ltd is a Canadian listed company (TSX-V) currently focused on the exploration and development of its Lake Giles project located in Western Australian. The area is prospective for nickel sulphide mineralization, gold and “boutique” iron ore deposits. –Total issued capital is 11,043,062 Shares and 950,000 warrants convertible into shares @ 30 cents within 12 months of issue but not before 27th February 2006. –There are 525,000 Options on issue under the company's Stock Option Plan. 75,000 convertible into shares @ 30 cents and 450,000 convertible into shares @ 46cents. –Major Shareholder is MDA Capital Pty Ltd. controlled by Australian-based mining entrepreneur Mr. Ken Talbot.
