Probability: Tree Diagrams Today you will learn to: calculate the probability of an event using tree diagrams. M07.D-S.3.1.1: Predict or determine whether some outcomes are certain, more likely, less likely, equally likely, or impossible. M07.D-S.3.2.2: Find the probability of a simple event, including the probability of a simple event not occurring. M07.D-S.3.2.3: Find probabilities of independent compound events using organized lists, tables, tree diagrams, and simulation.

Warm-up Problem: Tree Diagrams Theresa has finally finished all of her tests, and her parents are taking her for ice cream to celebrate (guessing correctly)! At Dairy Queen, they have three sizes of Blizzards (small, medium, and large), two types of ice cream (vanilla and chocolate), and three specialty toppings (brownie, cheesecake, and birthday cake). What is the probability that Theresa will choose a small vanilla Blizzard with brownie?
