Groups of six, with roles determined by the group ◦ Discussion Director ◦ Adventurous Artist ◦ Character Captain ◦ Cool Connector ◦ Wacky Wordsmith ◦ Literary Luminary Excess students will be drafted into groups as additional literary luminaries

Each group will choose two stories, and will decide in which order to discuss them in. Stories can be found at mrdylitcirclestories.wordpress.com Answer the relevant worksheet based on your role. Each student must print out a copy of the story to be discussed and come to class with it.

Each role has a worksheet unique to that role. Each student is expected to come to class with their worksheet already filled up Answer the questions on the worksheet using full sentences. Explain your answers and use textual evidence to prove your point. In addition to the worksheet, write a reader response paragraph of 5 to 8 sentences on a one whole sheet of paper, and staple it to the worksheet.

After each session (1 session/text), the group must compile their discoveries and present them via PowerPoint. Discoveries are comprised of a summary of the text, a summary of the reader reactions, and the information from their respective role sheets. Also include the plot breakdown of the text, and whether or not the story contained any significant symbolisms or ironies.
