Note: 1.Salutation can be followed by colon (:) or comma (,). The former is used in formal letters, the latter informal. 2.Salutation could be: ① Dear Mr. Zhang (title) ② Dear Susan ③ Dear Human Resources Manager (position) ④ Ladies and Gentlemen ⑤ Dear Friends

Some possible patterns: I wonder if you could help me with my computer. I wonder if you could do me a favor and have a look at my report. I would appreciate it if you could send me the documents ASAP.

Some possible patterns: When I run the program SPSS, a dialogue box pops up which says that … When I tried to open the document, I was prompted that the file was broken.
