A Survey Study on Oral Health Care According to Appearance of Experiencing Dental Treatment
2

Questionnaire items of knowledge level Experience of dental treatment (Yes) Experience of dental treatment (No) YesNoYesNo The best method for preventing a decayed tooth is toothbrushing.285(95)15(5)253(84.3)47(15.7) Even if immediately brushing teeth after taking chocolate, biscuit, and candy, it hasn't big correlation with incidence of decayed tooth. 30(10)270(90)63(21)237(79) Using dental floss leads to broadening space between gums.11(37)189(63)129(43)171(57) It is ok for tooth brushing once a day.12(4.0)288(96)39(13)261(87) Toothbrushing is good for being unconditionally strong.23(7.7)227(92.3)166(55.3)134(44.7) Given toothbrushing, even tongue needs to be cleaned.284(94.7)16(5.3)248(82.7)52(17.3) There is no big correlation between well managing denture and toothbrushing. 41(13.7)259(86.3)57(19)243(81) Receiving scaling leads to broadening space between teeth.81(27)219(73)139(46.3)161(53.7) Table 6.
