S TEPS Step 1: Choose a book. Step 2: Read the book! Step 3: Notecards Step 4: Find four different sources or critics who give higher opinions on your book, characters, or developments. You should have five sources including your primary source. Step 5: Final, complete sentence outline Step 6: Write a completed rough draft. Step 7: Revise the rough draft and write a final draft. Works cited page does NOT count towards paper requirements

I MPORTANT N OTE Once the rough draft has been graded by me, it can only go up one letter grade, 10 percentage points maximum. For example, if you write an average rough draft of the paper, earning a 74%, the highest grade you can receive on your final copy is an 84%. This helps to prevent students from writing average rough drafts, using my suggestions, and writing amazing final copies. You must give equal effort at all times!!!
