2. History Of ITED Created in 1942 by the University of Iowa’s College of Education Part of a program to develop a series of nationally accepted standardized achievement tests. The ITED is used in the majority of schools in the State of Iowa, both in the public and private education sectors Tests have found some use in other regions of the United States.

8. Testing Students with Special Needs Make a written record of accommodations and place the record in the test file. Others must be aware that the grade equivalents, percentile ranks, and other scores could be misleading. Percentile ranks can still be used to identify strengths and weaknesses. Year-to-year growth can be estimated with developmental scores.
