3. Create a data file in first sheet then save it

4. Log into Widgenie and choose the data type you want to upload, in my case I chose Microsoft Excel.

5. Browse your location and upload it. The formatting Instruction on the right tells you the required format that works in Widgenie.

6. After uploading, you will have an opportunity to enter information of the file you uploaded. Type in description that will help you to identify this data.

7. If you click the “Columns” tab, you can choose the data type. As you can see I have some text data and number data.

8. I also have a choice to link this data to my previous widgets or I can Create a new widget. You can make this choice in tab “4.Linked Widgets”.

9. Widgenie provides many type of visual representatives, Choose yours. I animated Bar Chart for my data.

10. I just needed to drag the columns that I wanted for my x-axis and then I dragged the columns that I wanted for my y-axis. The bar graph will be building on the right after I dropped the data.

11. If I don’t like the color of my bars, I can always change it.

12. If I need to have different dimension for my graph, I can also do that.

13. Then, The codes for different web 2.0 will be generated automatically. Choose the one that you need then you can just paste them in the places that you want them to go.

14. What is so Cool? Any further changes that you will be making in this graph will also be updated in places that you share automatically. In another word, incase you found out you made a mistake and you have pasted the code in your websites, don’t worry, you just need to make changes in Widgenie. You do not need to update the code in your websites.

15. Example of using the widgenie After I created the widget, My information is basically online. To share the data with my fellow teachers who I planned Math 1 I post this visual representative data in my blog and also send them the direct link to my widget.my blog
