Commissioned by NISMP in March 2012 ‘Information Portal’ to create a clear picture of migration and provide information to policy-makers and service providers Highlight impacts on local services, communities and the labour market Resource to be located on NISMP website

Collating data on migration from government departments, education & library boards, CAB, health and social services trusts etc Collating relevant data from other stakeholders in the private and voluntary sectors (e.g. STEP, SEEDS, ACSONI etc)

Information will include quantitative and qualitative data Presented in an accessible format online for users Working in partnership with NISRA to help to utilise current data sets (e.g. Census data)

Data to create a clear picture of immigration and its short and long-term impacts To include an accessible and adaptable guide on the rights and entitlements for migrants, policy-makers and service providers To identify any gaps in or obvious duplication of data in the various thematic areas

Crucial that the resource is sustainable and can be easily updated and built upon Site will be regularly updated by NISMP Information needs to keep being provided by stakeholders – a ‘living site’
