2 Existing FISO system: Is part of TFJ system –installed after 2003 TF joint failure arc/fire 27 selectable FISO sensors are patched into 8 channels FISO signal conditioning which drives 8 channels of 2 khz 16 kilosample digitizers Special software keeps track of patched sensors Existing sensors all on top or bottom of NSTX 27 channels of FISO sensors & optical caples PATCH PANEL SIGNAL CONDITIONING 8 channels DIGITIZERS 2 khz/chan 16 ksample/chan

3 8 channels FISO data are recorded each shot & archived automatically FISO histories easily retrieved for any shot
