Youth work in Estonia  The main goal of youth work is to create opportunities for young people for activities that facilitate their development and enable them to be active outside their families, formal education and work, to support the young person in the socialisation process and promote his/her transition into a well-coping member of society.  Youth work is organised by different institutions and in different settings i.e. youth organisations, youth centres, hobby-schools, youth camps, youth programmes and projects, extra-curriculum activities in school etc. 17
