2 About the Greater Washington Region Clean Cities Coalition (GWRCCC)  Part of network of nearly 100 coalitions nationwide covering major metropolitan areas whose mission is to reduce petroleum use by advancing alternative fuels and technology in the transportation sector  CCC program is managed by the US Department of Energy (DOE) and GWRCCC is supported by DOE, stakeholders, grants and contracts  In 2013 Clean Cities celebrated its 20 th anniversary and the GWRCCC was one of the first CCCs in the country founded in 1993 ( originally housed in MWCOG)  Organized as a a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation with a board of directors, staff and a diverse membership stakeholder base  Representative board members/stakeholders include Washington Gas, Eaton Corporation, K. Neal Trucking, DC Water, MWCOG, Georgetown, PG County Fleet and others
