Once a year TAM Ireland carry out a lifestyle survey on the panel. This allows for deep dives into the behaviours and attitudes of the TV audience so that they can be targeted more effectively. The are some top-line results which give a fascinating insight into the Irish TV viewers: All figures are based on Total TV viewing National Adults 15+ Consolidated Jan 2015

Less than 8% do their grocery shopping online. 75% have broadband in the home 41% have a games console but just 20% have it connected to the internet

In the last 7 days here are the type of websites that the TV audience has visited while online: As expected Search Engines dominate usage. Social Media sites out- perform News sites. TV Channels sites rate very highly at almost 18%.

We are a very loyal and price conscious bunch – 75% say they shop around for bargains and almost 70% try to buy Irish. Have an interest in the following – Definitely or tend to Agree
