2/3 Full Backs. Attacking Receiving techniques (facing the play) A range of passing – Short – Long – Type of delivery – eg, lofted, chipped Running with the ball Crossing Shooting from distance

2/3 Full Backs. Defending 1v1 defending (wide positions) eg, pressurising, forcing play / tackling Stopping crosses Blocking crosses / shots Defensive heading, general, at the near / far post

5/6 Centre Backs. Attacking Receiving techniques (facing the play) A range of passing: - -Short -Long -Type of delivery, eg diagonal / sidefoot Running with the ball Heading at attacking set plays

5/6 Centre Backs. Defending 1v1 defending (centrally) eg, marking / covering, stop turning, tackling and interception Clearances Heading general / set plays Blocking (shots)

4/8/10 Midfield. Attacking Receiving techniques (facing play and back to goal) A range of passing (disguise / clever passing) Turning Dribbling Running with the ball Crossing Finishing techniques (in / around penalty area)

4/8/10 Midfield. Defending 1v1 defending (eg, stop turning / forcing play / spoiling play / tracking runners / recovery runs / interception) Tackling Blocking Heading

9/10 Central Striker. Attacking Scoring techniques (inside / outside the penalty area) Receiving techniques (back to goal) Passing / linking play/combining play with each other Turning Dribbling Heading (general, scoring - near / far post)
