3. 3 Communion and Passover Ex.12 The Passover Ex.12:13 The significance of the blood of the lamb. The blood has an inbuilt sign in the face of destruction and death – Traffic Diverted! BP – blood protects! Protects us from the wrath of God and the plague of sin because without the shedding of blood there can be no forgiveness of sin.

5. 5 Communion and Passover Remembrance of our redemption. Reassurance of our protection. Re-acquaintance with the ‘host’. Closing verse: “For you were redeemed…with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.” (1Pet1:18,19).
