God shows his love for us in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Let us then show our love for him by confessing our sins in penitence and faith.

Father eternal, giver of light and grace, we have sinned against you and against our neighbour, Confession

In what we have thought, in what we have said and done, through ignorance, through weakness, through our own deliberate fault. Confession
