2 The main question to this is what have emerged as the key risk in blogging? Well there are many answers to that. Defamation; which is a false accusation of an offense or a malicious misrepresentation of someone's words or actions. In other words that means that you cant post a blog talking bad about someone or behind someone’s back. There are also copyright issues. Meaning you are not allowed by some restrictions to copy certain blogs.

3 Potential disclosure of trade secrets is one as well. For example, if you work for a food company then you are not allowed to post blogs about how you make all of your food what ingredients you use and specifically tell exactly how to make you products.

4 Another key risk in blogging is employment liability issues. The best practices for insuring blogging liability risk are to obtain media risks or perils insurance if you can afford it, watch for new blogging liability policies, and be informed about the law and adhere to it.

5 Blog Law Developments: Courtroom Blogging Best practices for courtroom bloggers: –For jurors: wait until after the trial is over, and obey whatever admonitions you are given about blogging Best practices for attorneys: –Inquire on jury selection about a potential juror’s internet presence, including blogging activities –Do some research to see what potential jurors, jurors, and witnesses are doing on the internet
