4. Now write out the sentence as many ways a you can! John entered the attic, feeling a little uneasy. Feeling a little uneasy, John entered the attic. These two sentences are entirely correct but try placing the subordinate clause INSIDE the main clause.

5. John, feeling a little uneasy, entered the attic. Notice now how the subordinate clause is located WITHIN the main clause! This is called ‘embedding the clause’ and makes your written work that much more sophisticated.
