Whose Responsibility is it to make Disciples?
2
1. GOD’S Responsibility a. The FATHER I planted the seed, Apollos watered the plants, but God made you grow. It's not the one who plants or the one who waters who is at the centre of this process but God, who makes things grow. Planting and watering are menial servant jobs at minimum wages. What makes them worth doing is the God we are serving. You happen to be God's field in which we are working. Or, to put it another way, you are God's house. 1 Corinthians 3:6-9 (MSG)

b. The SON “….I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:19 c. The HOLY SPIRIT “The Lord and the Spirit are one and the same, and the Lord's Spirit sets us free. So our faces are not covered. They show the bright glory of the Lord, as the Lord's Spirit makes us more and more like our glorious Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-25 (NASB)

2. The DISCIPLE’S Responsibility “But continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory, now and forever! Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18 (GNB) He that has My commandments and keeps them, it is that one who loves Me; and the one that loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and will reveal Myself to him. John 14:21 (LITV)

3. The CHURCH’S Responsibility “The eye cannot say to the hand, ‘I don’t need you!’ And the head cannot say to the feet, ‘I don’t need you!’ On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honourable we treat with special honour. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty.” 1 Corinthians 12:21-23 That there is no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. 1 Corinthians 12:25 (MKJV) and let us consider one another to provoke to love and to good works, Hebrews 10:24 (MKJV) Be hospitable to one another, without grudging; 1 Peter 4:9 9 (MKJV) And now I beseech you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. 2 John 1:5 (MKJV)
