4 SCENARIO 1 There is a student in your group who shows up one week with bruises on their face. You ask them about it, and they say that they tripped and fell. What do you do?

5 SCENARIO 2 You have a student in your group who normally has a very vibrant personality, but over the last couple weeks they seem withdrawn, quiet, and seem to be losing weight. You ask them about it but they just say they are tired. What do you do?

6 SCENARIO 3 You have a student in your group who shows up to LifeLine. During small group time, you notice bruises on a part of their body that doesn't seem like a normal "bruise area". In front of the whole group they announce that a friend hit them with a baseball bat. What do you do?

8 WHAT IS CHILD ABUSE? Harm or threatened harm to a child's health or welfare that occurs through non-accidental physical or mental injury, sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, or maltreatment"… by the person responsible for the child's care.
