3 3 KCP&L GMO MEEIA kWh Savings Recap  KCP&L received approval for an expanded portfolio of programs in our Greater Missouri Operations (former Aquila) territory November 2012 as part of the Missouri Energy Efficiency Investment Act (MEEIA).  Home Performance was one of seven pilot programs which transitioned under this filing and went into effect January 27, 2013.  Under MEEIA KCP&L has defined kWh savings targets to meet as part of a three year plan.  For 2013 KCP&L’s annual GMO MEEIA target was 2,108,136 kWh in annual estimated reduction.  The HPwES program achieved 395,498 kWh in reduction

5 5 KCP&L Legacy MEEIA kWh Filing  KCP&L filed January 6, 2014 an expanded set of programs for the legacy KCP&L-Missouri service territory.  The Missouri Public Service Commission has 120 days to review the filing.  KCP&L conducted a comprehensive potential study through a third party consultant to determine cost effective measures with the greatest potential for our service territory.  The filing included a modified version of the existing Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program.  The program will consist of more low cost prescriptive measures that reduces the first cost barrier for many participants

6 6 Program Impacts/TImeline  KCP&L will continue to run the legacy and GMO programs status quo until a ruling is made on the legacy filing.  If approved the new legacy program will go into effect sometime around May and the GMO program will remain as is through December 31, 2015.  Program design, guidelines and process are currently under design and will be communicated in the next few months.  Program will continue to be a joint offering between both utilities and trade ally network.
