Anne Greenwood Winter Count: A 40-Year Calendar of Events

Anne Greenwood Anne Greenwood, Portland, Oregon artist grew up in Jamestown and Dickinson. Her show is a small installation. Winter Counts were calendars used by the Plains Indians to record time pictographically. Greenwood uses this Plains Indian tradition to record her own personal history using hand-stitched embroidery.
