Classical Arguments CHAPEL UNIVERSITY Cosmological (cause to EFFECT) Teleological (design to DESIGNER) Anthropological (person to PERSON) Moral (innate sense of OUGHT) Ontological (idea of a Most PERFECT Being)

Observations: CHAPEL UNIVERSITY These Arguments are CUMULATIVE. These arguments point to a personal, infinite, perfect CREATOR to Whom we are morally ACCOUNTABLE. These arguments do not identify this God clearly and unmistakably with the GOD of the BIBLE.

Romans 1:18-20 CHAPEL UNIVERSITY The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Observations: CHAPEL UNIVERSITY God’s existence is CLEARLY SEEN in Creation. Men KNOW there is a Creator. Men SUPPRESS the truth in unrighteousness.

The Trinity: CHAPEL UNIVERSITY There is only ONE God. THREE Persons are recognized as God. There is ONE God Who exists in THREE distinct Persons.

Matthew 28:19 CHAPEL UNIVERSITY Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
