Exeter – a city where people relax
12
This is our Mission Field In joy and love we respond to God's grace through a commitment to: * Regular prayer and worship * Seeking to grow daily in Christ * Faithful witness to those around us * Loving service wherever we may be. Through Christ we look to a new oneness with God, each other and with the world in which we live.
13
And this is where we are
15
Our plan for 2012
16
Exciting, isn’t it!
17
The plan for 2012 is to help the church grow: In eleven Mission Communities, plus St Peter’s Cathedral With thirteen stipendiary (paid) ministers and one “house for duty” minister … … and unlimited opportunities for self- supporting ministers, readers and other licensed ministers … … and other paid workers if the mission community pays their salary
18
Let’s focus on those Mission Communities

Alphington, Shillingford St George and Ide we are employing a Family and Children's worker jointly with Exeter ICE. Anne-Marie Cohead works half time for us and half for ICE. She is leading after-school clubs at Alphington and Ide schools, and a monthly club (early evening Fridays) which is based at Shillingford St George Village hall, but open to children from the whole MC area. She is also leading the Sunday children's work. Early days yet - we haven't seen an enormous influx of kids, but a solid foundation is being built.
