Requirements: Residents of Cobb County for 2 months or longer Low income (135% of poverty; $2,683/mo. for family of 4) Meet other requirements specified by funding source Typical Client: Working poor Single parent households and intact families Change in household composition Illness of household member Unemployment, under-employment, cut-back in hours worked

Direct Services Stabilizes families and prevents homelessness by providing financial assistance for: Rent and utilities Food Prescriptions Transportation (CCT tickets) Holiday programs Friendship Fund

Housing Services Provides safe, secure housing with supportive services for homeless families Short-Term (5 units) Transitional (28 units) Permanent, affordable housing for the community Cambridge Woods Apartments 32 units total 12 transitional 20 public

Provides skills to obtain employment, retain employment, and increase earning capacity GED Prep Employment Readiness Life Skills Training Employment/Education Services
