3 Requirements:  Residents of Cobb County for 2 months or longer  Low income (135% of poverty; $2,683/mo. for family of 4)  Meet other requirements specified by funding source Typical Client:  Working poor  Single parent households and intact families  Change in household composition  Illness of household member  Unemployment, under-employment, cut-back in hours worked

4 Direct Services Stabilizes families and prevents homelessness by providing financial assistance for:  Rent and utilities  Food  Prescriptions  Transportation (CCT tickets)  Holiday programs  Friendship Fund

5 Housing Services Provides safe, secure housing with supportive services for homeless families  Short-Term (5 units)  Transitional (28 units) Permanent, affordable housing for the community  Cambridge Woods Apartments 32 units total 12 transitional 20 public

6 Provides skills to obtain employment, retain employment, and increase earning capacity  GED Prep  Employment Readiness  Life Skills Training Employment/Education Services
