12. The story is about affection between two lovers. Della sold her beautiful long hair so that she could afford the money of a gold chain, which was the present for Jim on Christmas day. But at the same time, Jim sold his gold watch to buy a set of beautiful combs for Della. Both of them sacrifice their favorites for love. It is a bit sorry at the end of the story, but the emotion between the lovers is implacable. Love is great. It can make the poor feel rich and make the hearts feel warm. Learn-ing to love, to care everyone around us is important.
